About Me
From the start, I like to be clear: I’m a consultant and mentor, not a coach. I’m all about action, processes, and walking this journey with you. I’ve built and scaled a seven-figure business that continues to grow, even while living in another country. I’ve mentored my own team internally, and I’m the queen of connecting and delegating. I also keep 50 tabs open on my computer, have a desk that looks like it's been ransacked, and I come up with at least 10 new business ideas daily.
I bring real-life practical experience through my successes and failures, and I firmly believe you can only truly succeed by being 100% yourself.
My career started in law and HR in the UK, but a radical move to Madrid with my husband meant I had to rethink my path. I quickly learned I wasn’t cut out for law—there was far too much detail and not nearly enough Ally McBeal-style dancing or cocktails! After becoming a TEFL trainer and working for several years in Madrid, I saw a gap in the market and grabbed it. In 2006, I launched TtMadrid, my first business baby, and in 2013, we added LAEMadrid, a Spanish school. These businesses have grown into a small university, now thriving under the brand The BLC Group, employing over 40 people and serving more than 1000 students a year.
In the early years, the challenges were immense, but once I learned to treat my business like a business, the joy and financial rewards followed.
In 2015, realising how difficult it was to access support as a solopreneur, I co-founded International Women in Business (IWBB) with Candy Lee La Balle. IWBB has built a supportive community of women entrepreneurs who train, network, and share knowledge, lifting each other up every day.
Alongside my work with IWBB, I’ve been mentoring women one-to-one to help them grow and scale their businesses since 2015. My passion lies in helping women take up more space, shine, and create flexible, scalable businesses.
I know what it’s like to juggle multiple projects, feel like there’s never enough time for your business, and manage life as a busy woman! That’s why I’m intentional and strategic in everything I do. I’m protective of my time and will make sure you are, too. I’ll hold you accountable and ensure that every decision we make is aligned with your strategy and goals.
While I love supporting women in the early stages of business growth through our Vault membership, my true passion is helping those ready to scale to the next stage—the stage that builds a legacy and solid financial wealth. I work with women who have fought imposter syndrome, but still feel they’re teetering on the edge every day. I want you to feel the same joy, buzz, and ease that I experience 99% of the time with my three businesses.
